These pictures are of a urban landscape. these pictures were taken during the winter months and the snow in the pictures i believe gives the picture a extra sense of light, meaning and also attracts the eye more. urban landscapes are involved in everyday life but people don't understand the how picturesque the landscapes are. some of the pictures main point is in the background but are taken with a object standing out in the foreground. with the rule of thirds the main focus is on the centre grid but in picture 4 the focus is mainly on the whole picture so the rule of thirds does not apply.
